Supporting a vibrant community

On behalf of the University of Greenwich, Derwent FM manages three student accommodation developments in East London – Devonport House, Daniel Defoe Hall and Cutty Sark Hall. Located in the heart of Greenwich, the halls form part of the vibrant local community and are close to the Docklands Light Railway and independent shops and bars.

The three buildings are of different types and ages, offering a range of living options including flat-shares, studios and two-bedroom studios. Bedrooms at each hall are fitted out with comfortable furniture and study facilities.

All year round service

We support the University with events-management from time to time during the summer and ensure all services (such as Wi-Fi and launderettes) are constantly available. There is even a mini-gym for use by residents at Daniel Defoe Hall.

Bicycle storage is available at all sites and we oversee a Brompton bike scheme at Daniel Defoe Hall. The communal garden courtyard at Cutty Sark Hall is maintained by Derwent FM’s specialist landscapers, providing an external space for relaxation and study.
